A review of Villa Amore
On July 6th, my friend HS and I visited Villa Amore, an Italian restaurant located inside the Country Inn by Radisson on North 27th Street in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Although Villa Amore has a full bar and an extensive wine selection, neither of us ordered alcoholic beverages—HS doesn’t drink, and I simply wasn’t in the mood that evening.
When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by our waitress, Lynn, who seated us almost immediately. She brought us menus and took our drink orders. For our appetizer, we chose mozzarella sticks, which were hot, crispy, and delicious.
Our entrées came with a choice of soup or salad, and we both opted for the Chicken Potato Soup. I ordered the Seafood Alfredo, while HS chose Shrimp Scampi over angel hair pasta. The meals were served with fresh Italian bread and a dipping sauce of olive oil mixed with Italian herbs.
All of the food was excellent, although HS noted that the Chicken Potato Soup was quite salty. Personally, I would rate the food 4.5 out of 5 stars, with 5 being the highest. The atmosphere was a perfect 5, and the service was also a 5. The total bill for the evening came to a very reasonable $51.24.
