A Review of Taj Ali

On Thursday, August 7th, 2025, my friend Mark Reece and I decided to grab lunch together, and I suggested we try Taj Ali, a Middle Eastern restaurant with a unique twist. Instead of traditional table service, you place your order at the counter, and then they bring the food out once it’s ready—a simple setup that works perfectly.

I went with the chicken curry, and wow, was it spicy! According to the menu, it was supposed to come with either rice or pita bread, but to my surprise, it came with both. The portions were huge—almost too much to finish—but it was so flavorful that I couldn’t resist polishing off every bite.

Mark chose the falafel wrap, which he really enjoyed. I’ll admit, falafel isn’t my thing, so I didn’t sample it, but he gave it high praise. He also ordered a side of French fries, which looked golden and crispy. He confirmed they were delicious, though the serving was massive—definitely enough to share.
Between the bold flavors, generous portions, and friendly service, I’d give Taj Ali a solid 5 out of 5 stars across the board: food, service, and atmosphere. A fantastic spot for anyone craving hearty Middle Eastern fare.
